Hey, I'm Calvin.
I'm an entrepreneur and marketer based in Philadelphia and New York City.
In the day-to-day, I'm building founder personal brands with podcasts at engine.fm, working with select clients on their digital strategies at rezy.io, and experimenting with new ideas when I can find the time.
I designed this website to serve as a "one-stop shop" for everything in my universe. If you can't find what you're looking for, email me: calvin@rezy.io

Early Life
I was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1999 and grew up online. By 11, I was making gaming videos on YouTube, teaching myself how to do basic video editing and graphic design. At 13, I made my first dollar on the internet by editing videos for other creators (I got paid $25 for what ended up being like 10 hours of work, but I was pumped). Shortly thereafter, I started doing remote work for free at a YouTube multi-channel network based in London, which is where I became obsessed with how content, distribution, and monetization actually work behind the scenes.
At 17, I became the Director of Channel Operations at ScaleLab Gaming, then one of YouTube's largest MCNs. A year later, I sent a cold email that landed me a role on Team GaryVee as Gary Vaynerchuk's Social Media Manager, making me the youngest employees at VaynerMedia. That job changed my life, completely rewiring how I think about brand, leverage, and the internet.
Marketing Agencies / Entrepreneurship
After almost two years at VaynerMedia, I left to build my own thing. In 2019, I co-founded a boutique agency called notus with Marvin Sangines, which we grew working with various founders and brands across Europe and the U.S. In 2020, Marvin and I decided to move in separate directions, which is when I rebranded the company to Engineer Influence.
Within about ~2 years, I went from zero to nine FTEs and roughly $700K in ARR, operating at 50%+ profit margins. In June 2022, SERHANT. acquired the agency, and I joined as Director of Social Media, overseeing Ryan Serhant's personal brand, the brokerage's main channels, new development projects, and select projects for Sell It (fka "Sell It Like Serhant"). That season gave me a crash course in luxury real estate, larger-scale in-person content production, and building media-style systems inside a high-growth company. I ultimately decided to leave SERHANT. in February 2024 to start something new.
In 2021, I also launched a small side hustle called createcontent.io – a cost-effective design service producing quote cards and carousels for creators, coaches, and executives on LinkedIn. The business grew to roughly $5K in MRR with 60–75% margins and had real legs, but I ultimately shut it down once my responsibilities at SERHANT. scaled and I no longer had the bandwidth to operate it.
Now
I run engine.fm, a podcast-driven personal branding company for B2B entrepreneurs and executives. We build "content engines" around founder-led podcasts and use AI-enabled workflows to turn conversations into a full ecosystem of clips, posts, and written content. We've worked with founders and executives from companies like Kaizen Equity, Spark Offer (acquired by Auction.com), Owl Ventures, and more.
Simultaneously, I operate rezy.io as a separate boutique agency focused on custom-scope digital strategy, content marketing, and advertising services. What started as a one-man consulting practice has evolved into a tight collective of creatives and strategists, helping agencies and brands refine social strategy, implement AI solutions, and streamline operations. Through rezy.io, I've led work for clients in watches, real estate, and high-end services – most notably the Watches of Switzerland Group (Watches of Switzerland, Mayors, Betteridge) – while continuing to experiment with new ideas like Dosto, a white-label DAM concept for service businesses that I'm actively exploring as a longer-term SaaS play.
I think of all of this as one portfolio – some things are cash flow, some are experiments, and a few are long shots that could become very big (or nothing at all).

Personal Stuff
- • Growing up, I was never a particularly good student. Not because I wasn't capable, but because I didn't find it interesting. So, gaming and YouTube quickly became my outlet. The name "Rezy" was one of my original X-Box gamertags.
- • After seven years in NYC, I relocated to Philadelphia in 2024, though I'm still in NYC very regularly for friends, clients, and collaborations.
- • Outside of work, I read a lot (mainly philosophy and business), lift weights, run, bike, and treat my health as non-negotiable (with the exception of the occasional cigar). I also play chess, enjoy writing, and try to use travel as a way to reset my thinking and gather new inputs.
- • In an effort to push myself and try new things, I ran the Philadelphia marathon in 2025, finishing in 3:57:41. It was hard... and boring... not sure if I'll do another.
- • I love watches and have a humble collection that includes a couple of Grand Seikos, a vintage Doxa from the 1930s, and a few other fun pieces. Chen's Watch and Yan's Antique Jewelry in Chinatown are a couple of my "go-to"s for vintage.
- • Professionally, I'd say that I'm primarily optimizing for a long, interesting career – compounding skills and relationships over decades. Personally, I'm trying to do it without losing sight of what matters: health, family, close friends, and being kind.
